Lightning (T-83) is one of the younger tigresses to capture attention in Ranthambore National Park. Named after the distinctive lightning-bolt-shaped marking along her left flank, she has quickly become a memorable presence in the park’s wildlife landscape.
Known for her confidence, striking appearance, and impressive hunting ability, Lightning represents the next generation of Ranthambore’s tiger population.
Territory Around Malik Talao
Lightning has become closely associated with Zone 6, particularly the scenic surroundings of Malik Talao. Her movements have been recorded across a diverse landscape of lakes, grasslands, rocky terrain, and forest trails.

- Malik Talao — an important water source and hunting ground where she is often seen near the shoreline.
- Surrounding Grasslands — open areas where she can rest, patrol, and observe potential prey.
